can you please give me names of filipino sociologists and anthropologists and their contributions? Thanks!?
i arduously searched the internet and luckily, i already found some of them. Actually, my professor is asking for 10 filipino sociologists and 10 anthropologists. I only found 3 sociologists ang 4 anthropologists. They are Walden Bello, Karina Constantino-David, Randolf “Randy” David, Alfredo Evangelista, Felipe Landa Jocano, Melba Padilla Maggay, Michael Tan. Do you know anyone else and what his/her contributions are? any relevant answer, even if it's short, would be of great help and would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much!!! God bless us!!!

2. Although Cristina Pantoja-Hidalgo is neither an anthropolgist nor sociologist her work covers the experiences of people in the Phillipines from the standpoint of what contemporary sociological research understands as standpoint epistemology.
3. web site 3 leads you to the Phillipines Sociological Review - you could cite the editor of this review as making a signficant contribution or follow through on some of the several over sociologists heading specific areas (eg migration) in the field of sociology.
4. there are also Filipino sociologists working in Canada and Hawaii who are producing a range of useful and important works about the Phillipines' gender, civil justice etc
