Why is my knee swollen for no reason?
I am a 20 yr. old mother. I have been having pains in my knees for no resons. Every 3 to 4 months I get the swollen knees for no reason and it takes about a week or 2 for the pains to go away. My knee is really swollen and it hurts so bad that I cant even bend it, what can this be? I have never even hurt my knees or anything. Has anyone ever experienced this before?
This happens to me! Since it is bi-lateral it would be a good idea to see a doctor to rule out rheumatoid arthritis. Please have a doctor check it out. This arthritis can occur at any age. Also other auto immune disorders may cause these symptoms.
It could also just be the way you are built. (Foot pronation etc.)
But pleasse see a doctor just to rule things out. Some conditions are progressive, so the sooner the better.
