What color shoes/heels should I wear with a blue/purple hued dress?
I'm going to a late afternoon wedding followed by an evening reception. I bought a long halter dress in a dark blue-purplish color. The dress is a bold/vibrant color. What color heels should I wear with this dress? I tried silver and it seemed too bright/flashy. HELP!
I would go with a slightly heeled strappy sandal. Try gold if you didn't like the silver. Metalic colors always look great with dark colors. Even a metalic peuter color would look good. If you don't want metalic try going for a matte color in a strappy sandal, maybe the same color or similar color as your dress is. If you can't decide on a color that will look good, nude will always work. Most shoe departments carry nude colored shoes. Deffinately stick with a strapped sandal though.
