How long can you leave a cocktail mix out if it says refrigerate after opening?
I have a bottle of Daily's Mudslide mix, the kind without alcohol included, and my sister left it out on the counter the other night after mixing one for us.
I didn't notice the bottle until the next morning and on it, it said to refrigerate after opening.
How long is too long to leave something out like this? If it was milk or something like that I would throw it right away, but could this be as harmful?
If there is a warning on the bottle, it's there for a reason. I have no idea what the ingredients are, but it's probably soured over night if it's hot there.
